A Message From the Leader of the Opposition

On behalf of the Official Opposition of Saskatchewan, I commend the members of the Emcy Awards Foundation Inc., the Canadian Multicultural Federation, the Multicultural Council of Canada and the Multicultural Council of Saskatchewan for sponsoring the 2008 Emcy Awards Gala.

These awards recognize individuals, corporations, and organizations that have created excellence through the celebration of diversity in our country. Whether they have contributed to economic prosperity, social well being, or the enrichment of the business, political, social or economic fabric of Canada, their actions have promoted equality and diversity and harmony across our country.

The Official Opposition of Saskatchewan is pleased to provide support to the Multicultural Council of Saskatchewan, one of the sponsoring agencies of this event, to help the Council work toward its noble goal for harmony among the different cultures represented in our province and country.
