Governor Tung Chan, Vancouver
Tung Chan, Vancouver, was appointed CEO of SUCCESS, one of the largest immigrant
settlement services organization in the Lower Mainland, in November 2006. Before that he was with The
TD Bank Financial Group as Vice-president. From 1990 - 1993, Tung served as a Councillor of the City
of Vancouver, acting as Deputy Mayor of Vancouver on numerous occasions.
Tung is presently a member of BC Premier's Chinese Community Advisory Committee, a member of the Board
of Governors of Kwantlen University College, a Board Advisor of the Vancouver Summer Festival Society and
a board member of the Asia Pacific Foundation. In 2002 Tung was awarded the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal
in recognition of his contribution to the community.
