The Emcy Awards celebrate diversity! Celebrate multiculturalism! Celebrate Canada!! The Emcy Awards Gala is a national celebration to honour the 2009 Emcy Award winners. The program will feature a gala Dinner, entertainment and Awards. Gala participants will represent Canada from coast to coast to coast; they will include representatives from the diverse communities that makes up Canada. The event will be televised.

The 2009 Emcy Awards Gala will be held at the Conexus Arts Centre.

Patron of 2009 Emcy Awards Gala

His Worship Mayor Pat Fiacco of the City of Regina is the Patron. Emcy Awards are organized by Emcy Awards Foundation, and sponsored by Canadian Multicultural Federation, Multicultural Council of Canada and Multicultural Council of Saskatchewan. The Gala program will celebrate and honour 2009 Emcy Award winners; there will be a gala dinner, entertainment and Awards. The colourful star studded extravaganza will feature wild splash of colors, banners a giant TV Screen showing the activities. Access Communications will tape the Gala and broadcast it on its TV network.

National Adjudication

A panel of judges will select the winners from the nominations received by the 2009 Emcy Awards Committee. The winners will be announced at the Emcy Awards Gala on October 15, 2009.
