The Foundation Board of Governors
The Board of Governors guides the Foundation in setting corporate mission and direction. Nominees for governorship are Canadians with passion and commitment for celebrating diversity, celebrating multiculturalism, and celebrating Canada. Any member of the Foundation may nominate a candidate for the position of a Governor. The Board of Governors selects the individual and invites the individual to become a Governor. Governors are appointed for a three-year terms and may serve up to two consecutive terms.
The Foundation Board of Directors
Corporate management, control and general policies are administered by the Board of Directors. Directors are elected by the members of the Foundation at the annual general meeting of the Foundation.
Officers are elected from among the directors for a five-year term. The elected positions are president, secretary general and treasurer. Officers may serve up to two consecutive two-year terms in the same office.
The Foundation Administration
The Board of Directors appoints the Chief Executive Officer to supervise the administrative activities of the Foundation. The Chief Executive Officer and his staff conduct the Foundation’s day-to-day business.
Membership dues, program admission charges, and the sale of special publications all contribute to the Foundation’s operating revenue.
